Philipp Schmidt-Dengler is Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim. He received his doctoral degree from Yale University in 2005 subsequently taught at the London School of Economics and Political Science. In 2010 he joined the University of Mannheim. Philipp's main research interests are in industrial organization, applied microeconomics, and applied econometrics. He is associate editor at the International Journal of Industrial Organization, and member of the editorial board at the Review of Economic Studies.
